Are you suffering from joint or muscle pain? Arthritis pain? Pain caused by an inflammatory disease? If so, you are not alone.  There are a multitude of people who live with pain. It doesn’t help that the market is plagued with an insurmountable amount of anti-inflammatory medications. Choosing the right supplement can be a mind-boggling experience. Often times, pain sufferers will choose to deal with the pain, rather than run the risk of experiencing the negative side effects of conventional pain relief medication, promoted by pharmaceutical companies. When inflammation is left untreated, it is not only painful, it can trigger heart disease, autoimmune disorders, osteoporosis, cancer and even obesity.

Turmeric

Turmeric has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-fungal, antioxidant, anti-mutagenic and antiviral properties. According to pertinent preclinical studies, in animal models and in vitro, curcumin has the following benefits:

It has Anti-Inflammatory properties. It can induce apoptosis in cancer cells and may inhibit angiogenesis. It has anti-thrombotic effects. It can decrease the amyloid plaque associated with Alzheimer’s. It has some activity against bacteria, Leishmania, and HIV.

Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, has neuroprotectant and anti-inflammatory properties.

The effects above sound promising, but animal studies and in vitro studies may not be applicable to humans.

White Willow Bark

Studies have shown that White Willow Bark can help reduce lower back pain and it may help with osteoarthritis. In clinical studies, patients that were given a daily dose of white willow bark, reported significant pain relief versus a placebo group. White willow bark is also known as an effective analgesic that contains antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory properties.

The anti-inflammatory agent derived from white willow bark, that gives it its healing effect, is salicin. According to scientists, salicin, also the active ingredient in aspirin, when consumed and processed in the body, converts to salicylic acid, which alleviates pain.

Horsetail

Horsetail is derived from the horsetail plant.

Stinging Nettle

Stinging Nettle is an herb that has been recognized for its health benefits for over 2,000 years.

Garlic

Garlic’s benefits have anti-inflammatory properties, and contains sulfer compounds that stimulate the immune system to fight disease.

Celery

Celery has a myriad of health benefits including anti-inflammatory. Celery seeds found in InflaDox have been known to lower inflammation and fight bacterial infections.
